What is NICE1 and how is it different from a traditional ice machine?
NICE1 is an iceless cold + compression therapy system. It delivers controlled cold therapy and programmable compression through procedure-specific wraps without the need to continually refill the machine with ice.
How much does it cost to rent NICE1?
Ortho Flow offers simple, all-in rental options: 2 weeks for $350, 3 weeks for $500, or 4 weeks for $650. Home delivery, setup, support throughout the rental, and pickup are included.
How long should I rent the machine after surgery?
A two-week rental is our minimum and a common starting point for the early post-operative period. Patients who expect to use cold + compression longer can choose three- or four-week options. Recovery varies by procedure, so patients should follow any specific instructions provided by their surgical team.
Do you deliver before surgery?
Yes. We coordinate delivery around your procedure date whenever possible so the machine can be set up, demonstrated, and ready to use when you return home.
Who sets the machine up and helps me if I have questions?
Ortho Flow handles the entire process. We deliver the NICE1, fit and explain the wrap, demonstrate the controls, and remain available throughout the rental for questions and assistance. We also coordinate pickup when you are finished.
